but I see the usual Lafayette bashing I saw on Vapreps is here also. Granted the Lafayette schedule is too soft- I agree but they play the BRD as they have for the past 15 years. The solution would be to finally dissolve all districts and set up play based on the realigned conferences. This puts Lafayette on a yearly basis with LT, Heritage, Debigh, Kings Fork with some of the BRD teams/ Smithfield, Grafton . I agree what do we need to play Div 2 & 3 teams if we are now Div 4. I would not agree that the last 2 years team would only win a handful of games in the Pd. they would do better. Lafayette did think about appealing their move to Div 4 as they are now the smallest school on this allignment but pulled the appeal- it never went to a decision. I don't know about the Lt offer to play - if date problem occurred or not but I wish they taken it. When the playoffs went from 4 to 8 teams you did not have to worry about a loss to a top team to hurt your chances any more to qualify. Oh well my first post. Let the stones fly/ don't aim for the head.

To be clear. This site is not affiliated with the daily press in any way. This site was created by users so users of Hr Varsity would have a continuing home for their community. This site was also not created by Phoebus fans, as has been suggested on another board by an individual who is not an official of that community. Anyone is welcome to post here Just had to single out the Phoebus fans. Smh, fans of the other schools aren't any different. Phoebus fans are just more vocal and opinionated. Oh, yeah, welcome back Lafayette. I'm pulling for you guys to do some big things with the jump up in divisions. |
