Heritage don't have good athletes like that had year in and year out. I think that's the point you missing. Like I said they had a good team last year that was lead by seniors. And if u Really watch Phoebus there is only a few things they need to clean up. Even the QB for heritage said they not ready. I don't make these things up or pull them out my ****. There D will keep them in some games but I do see Heritage getting better as the year goes on. But as far as this 1st game BLOWOUT. Nothing there D can do about it because LT D is going to put heritage O in bad positions all night if they can't move the ball. I'm not missing any points because I don't know, you guys are the PD Guru's. Well if there are a few things Phoebus has to clean up why isn't there a few things Heritage has to clean up? As far as Phoebus goes they looked very small from what I was told and not that good. I didn't see them first hand had my own scrimmage, but people are way down on them. But of course they are a sleeping giant with a ton of talent that will depend on coaching. I will say this I think this is a big season for the Phoebus program to see where they are...People are losing respect and the aura of invincibility they used to have is gone. Same thing Hampton went through IMHO. [br Don't go by what you "heard" go see for yourself. As far as being small if isn't Phoebus always been the smallest. So that has nothing to do with it. The coaching is there it's up to the kids this year. And Phoebus can careless if you have respect for them. They didn't get any respect when they was winning States it was still a bunch of haters talking. I know 1st hand they not worrying about what people have to say. These fans not at the school grinding with them or going through what the coaches go through at Phoebus. It's a lot stuff that the fans are blind by. And it's not all the kids it's deeper than that....why heritage can't only fix a few things? My question to you is have you seen them? And if you did what is a few things to you? |

IR has never blown out a PD team. Not even when they won the state title. feardaphantoms Once again what do Bethel have? They have a new Coach with new everything for them to be great like you are making them out to be I got to be missing something. I talk to a player dad at bethel and he said they was struggling. So he might be lying to me and I might be missing something. |

I will be in the building Thursday to witness the Mighty Phantoms. Hard to see Phoebus scrimmage again when I had my own scrimmage. And Phoebus isn't always the smallest so I'm not buying that. They have always had size especially on the lines those kids hit the weight room hard. I'm sorry but it's on the coaches to get the kids prepared. I doubt any kid will go in and just tank it. If the kid isn't properly prepared then they can blow assignments and if they aren't preparing the way they are suppose to prepare then that's on the coach to motivate them or get rid of them. Every year since 2012 Phoebus has had some turmoil to deal with...AD in the way, Principal that isn't supportive, Pittman situation, someone losing a brother which is unfortunate, and many more that people probably don't know about. When does the craziness stop? A coach said the other day that when he saw Phoebus they looked like a 4-6 team. Now we all know the PD won't allow them to go 4-6, but that's not good. I wish I could go back through the old threads because it has been the same song and dance the last couple of years. Again you guys are playing Wilson so maybe it's not a good indicator as to how good Phoebus really is. |

I'm very cool with Anthony Robinson I have his number, but I'm not going to call him up especially after they treated him over there. There is a ton of turmoil over at Phoebus and I'll put it to you this way my college QB who is a PD guy was asked to come be the OC over there and he was like not worth it just a ton of craziness at Phoebus. Unfortunate that this is going on but again I ask why?? Why wasn't these things happening under Coach Dee? Same kids right? Howcome he was able to filter the BS out and it not impact his program? What has changed since you are the expert and know everything about Phoebus. LT |

My problem was winning all those State Championships (7 in 11) (4 n a row) and not knowing what its like to be a mere mortal like you. Maybe one day you'll get to ride high like the Phantoms (and Crabbers). Losing gets me in touch with my fellow man. Its great to be back in the struggle. Lake Taylor is the new king (finally). Maybe your new enemy? |
