Yeah Phoebus won today 34-0 over Menchville. I see it's no talk about it. But had they lost or even lost last week this board would be lit up like 4th of July. But when they win its might silent nobody has nothing to say. All good though. That's why I know they are haters on this board.

3-0 on the road to a Div III Championship. Can't wait for ESPN and USA Today to call.

Thanks for the update. If Phoebus ever lost to Menchville in football it would light up like the fourth of July.

Congrats to Phoebus, but it was a bad Menchville team.

Look at the threads. Phoebus is the subject of pretty much every successful thread (more than 2-3 replies) on this board.

James Monroe is currently better than Phoebus, and also has a storied history. Magna Vista took a beating last night, but Jefferson Forest looks awesome on tape and is now my favorite to win 4A West this year and meet Lake Taylor at Liberty. Brookville is also very good with a talented QB and potent, balanced offense.

Menchville lost 53-7 to Nansemond River being out gained 488 to 78 and giving up 385 on the ground alone. Then, that same NR team got beat 42-0 by what a lot says is Oscar Smith's worst team in some years. But nonetheless....

I'm sure somebody pick Menchville to beat Phoebus but they will never come out and say it. If they lost somebody would had said I knew they was going to loose. Oh and he know who he is.

3-0 on the road to a Div III Championship. Can't wait for ESPN and USA Today to call. This is the thing that's killing me. You all act like Phoebus can control that they are in D3. They sign wavers for years to stay in D5 when they really was a D4 school. Now they don't care you have to play in your Div.

And if there is a person out here that did that then they would need to get their head seriously examined. Phoebus is interesting because they are in no means what they have been, but that might still be enough to win in 3A. Last year before we played at Liberty I watched Lafayette-Magna Vista and was not impressed with either team. I think defensively Phoebus is playing lights out albeit against some bad teams, but that's what you are suppose to do against teams of that caliber. I feel the PD is as wide open as ever and can see any of 3-4 teams winning it, but once the playoffs come around the name Phoebus will scare the hell out of a lot of 3A teams.

It was a good win ,the staff saw some improvement in certain areas however, don't be fooled they will not rest on this win they have a lot of work to get better. They are growing as a program and staff.

Teams will be calling for Phoebus' head. Everyone will hear outcries of "we want Phoebus!" around the state. No one's scared of them anymore.
